Job Description –
The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients’ internal structures. This role involves patient preparation, images acquisition, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The CT Technologist works closely with radiologist and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely imaging services.
Qualifications/Skills
-Minimum one year of recent experience.
-Proficiency in operating CT scanners and understanding imaging techniques.
-Knowledge of different scanning protocols for various body parts and conditions.
-Ability to communicate effectively with patients and work as parts and conditions
-Ability to communicate effectively with patients and work as part of a healthcare team.
-High School or GED required
-Required: Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana.
-Current ARRT (R) (CT) registry
-Required AHA BLS
