Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 20

• Number of Staff – 40

• Type of staff:

• Day Shift – 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses, 3 techs

• Night Shift – 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses, 2 techs

• Patient Ratios – 1:4, charge free of patients – Estimated ratios, not guaranteed

• Type of equipment – Vents, Feeding Pumps, IV Pumps, Wound Vacs, Specialty beds, Suction, Chest Tubes

• EMR – Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
BLS

• Ability to manage chest tubes, trauma patients, trachs, suction

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ACLS

• Bedside bronch

• Standard trauma unit with stable vented/trached patients
