• Patient Ratios – 1:1-3
• Type of equipment – BAXTER MEDFUSION PUMPS, HOSPIRA INFUSION PUMPS
• EMR – MEDITECH

Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• PCVICU/PICU RN EXPERIENCE
• MUST BE ABLE TO MANAGE ICU ASSIGNMENT WITH INTUBATED/VENTILATED PATIENT.
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• MANAGING CARE OF A PICU PATIENT WITH CONGENTIAL HEART DEFECTS
• MANAGING CARE OF A PICU PATIENT ON MULTIPLE VASOACTIVE INFUSIONS.
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• PLACEMENT OF CHEST TUBES, CENTRAL LINES, PICC LINES, ARTERIAL LINES
• PLACEMENT OF QUINTON CATHETERS, PERACENTESIS, THORACENTESIS

• MUST BE POSITIVE, HELPFUL AND FLEXIBLE
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• PALS/BLS

• NICU, PEDIATRIC SURGICAL UNIT, PEDIATRIC INTERMEDIATE CARE UNIT, PEDI HEM/ONC UNIT
Dress Code :
• Scrub Color/Attire – NAVY/NO T-SHIRTS, SWEATSHIRTS OR HOODIES
