Job Description –

Unit Name: NICU/PICU

Building: Womens and Childrens Hospital

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 60 Bed NICU/ 10 Bed PICU/ PEDS ED/ 27 bed PEDS Floor.

• Patient Ratios : N/A

• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 3 NICU RTs + 2 PEDS RT pershift.

• Type of equipment: NC, HFNC, V-60, Drager, Avea, 3100 Oscillator.

• Documentation system: Meditech

• Scheduling requirements: Three 12 hour shifts per week. Holiday rotation.

• Floating policy: N/A

• Patient Experience requirements: 1 Year Experience.

Hospital Specifics-

• Certifications: PALS, NRP and BLS

Requested Skill Set:

PICU or NICU RT Experience

Must have :

Ability to follow Asthma Guidelines.

Advanced skills needed:

Assist with intubations.
