General Information
Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds : 27 on each floor
• Patient Ratios : 5:1
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit secretaries during the dayshift and techs on all shifts
• Type of equipment : Computer on Wheels, Pyxis, Welch Allen vital sign machines
• Documentation system: Medhost but transitioning to Meditech April 19th
• Scheduling requirements: 3 days a week with every other weekend
• Floating policy: will need to float between MS 2 and MS3

Requested Skill Set:
Must have : Basic Med/Surg experiences, Experience with post-op patients especially ortho
Advanced skills needed: NA
Procedures performed on unit: Blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS preferred but not required
Dress Code : (Required uniform)
