The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist will assist and guide patients through MRI scans. MRI technologists operate magnetic resonance imaging machines in the healthcare sector. They create diagnostic images of patients according to their physicians’ instructions, take patients' histories, prepare them for scans, and keep them calm and comfortable during the process.
Qualifications/Skills
-Basic Life Support Certification required
-Registered by American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) Or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Image Technologist (ARMRIT)
-Obtain MRI Registry (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 12 months of hire
-Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise position with the conditions of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
-MRI Experience is preferred
