Job Title – Imaging & Radiology – Cath Lab

Location – Toledo, Ohio

Pay – $3446 – $3566/wk

Schedule Details – Day, 5X8

Job Description –
Position Specific Details
Cath Lab Tech
This position will accept local candidates.
Dysrhythmia Exam NOT Required

4 Days (9 or 10 hours) 07:30-17:00/1800 plus call.
Call is about 14 days in a 6 week schedule. The weekends include Th-F-S-S + 1 day a week
2 years Cath lab experience required.
ARRT certification required. BLS required, ACLS preferred. May be required to float to St. Anne or Perrysburg if need arises
Unit Specific Details:
Structured heart and endovascular experience is a plus. Phillips & McKesson Technology/EMR experience preferred.

Assists with cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures by
calibrating equipment, setting up procedures, prepping patients, operation monitoring and recording devices, and
collection of diagnostic data during procedures. Maintains an electronically and radiologically safe environment in the
laboratory. Provides care to adolescent through geriatric patients.
Must have analytical abilities necessary to monitor and assess patients condition.
Must have analytical abilities necessary to perform calculations for diagnosis and treatment of cardiac abnormalities.
Must have analytical abilities necessary to recognize normal and abnormal ECG and to monitor several sources of data to
make quick and accurate decisions as to status of patient.
Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their fears, their families,
physicians and various medical personnel.
Must be able to calculate drug dosages and administer medication appropriately.
Must utilize all PPE including lead apron and thyroid shield
Mechanical ability to operate / maintain complex electrical equipment and recording devices, and assist the physician in
the cardiac laboratory and operating room environment
Ability to react quickly under pressure in stressful environment.
Ability to work flexible schedules and on call rotation.
Maintain: the laboratory/operating room and equipment; manage supplies FIFO; and support accurate billing for procedures
performed.
Work requires some lifting and positioning of patients.
Education Qualifications –
Required Minimum Education:
Vocational/ Technical Degree
Specialty/Major:
RCIS, Radiology Tech and / or accredited Electrophysiology program.
Preferred Education:
4 year/ Bachelors Degree
