Shift Requirements:
every other weekend, holiday rotation, 3x12s
Must work 2/3 holidays
Certification Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC, IN license
COVID & Flu vaccines required
Skillset Requirements: – Work Setting: Travelers will Float between NICU, PEDS acute care and adult acute care this is a requirement. – Respiratory Care: Airway management, Medication administration, Vent management, ABGs, 02 Therapy, Suction, Pulmonary toileting, Nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP
Skillset Preferred: – Work Setting: Trauma, Teaching hospital, ER – Respiratory Care: Bronchoscopes – Documentation Systems: Cerner – Equipment: Hamilton G5, Philips V60
Minimum Experience Required: 3 years min
Unit Information: General Care, NICU, Peds, and Adult Intensive Care.
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30). **Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS** Shift Info: Night 3×12-Hour (17:30 – 06:00)
