Job Description –
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30). **Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
Pre-Screening Question: Does this candidate have experience with Collodion/glue EEG hook-up? **PLEASE NOTE Clinicians must be okay with working 5 x 8 days during their first week or two for training and must be okay with all patient populations and floating between Riley (peds hospital) and Methodist if asked.**
Shift: 3×12 19:00-7:30 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Types of Cases: Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, sEEG, Neurotelemetry, Ictal SPECT, routine EEG, Trauma, Critical Care.
Riley covers the adult hospital next door (University), so at time the team has to go do hookups, routines, and monitor adult patients. We also have a MLD unit at Riley that has adults that need Neuro services and at times we help monitor adult patients from across the system.

First timers accepted: Yes, if all other requirements are met

Certs REQ: ABRET, BLS, R.EEG T.

RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays. 1 Pre-Approved Time-Off Per Contract
Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts – 40 hrs. in one workweek.
3, 12 hr shifts – 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts – 48 hrs. in one workweek.
