General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 23 step down, 16 med surg

• Number of Staff –

• Type of staff:
• Day Shift – 1 charge, 11 RN, 4 PCT

• Night Shift – 1 charge, 10 RN, 4 PCT

• Patient Ratios – 1:3-4 Step down, 1:4-6 med surg

• Type of equipment – lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, trachs

• EMR – Cerner

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• 2 years nursing experience

• Experience working with trachs

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Previous experience with cerner

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Trach care, chest tubes, wound dressing changes

Best personality Fit:

• Flexibility and high level of clinical competence

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• ACLS/BLS

Floating Area(s):

• Other med surg and progressive care units

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color/Attire – Navy blue

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Weekends and On call(if any)

6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6 week period
