General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds -32-36 per unit

• Number of Staff – 431 EE

• Type of staff:

• Day Shift – 1 chrg, 6-7 RNs, or 3 RN/3LPN. 4 PCT

• Night Shift – 1 chrg, 6-7 RNs, or 3 RN/3LPN. 4 PCT

• Patient Ratios – 5-7/1

• Type of equipment – Pyxis, IV pumps, Suction equipment, defibrillators, O2 set up, SCDs, wound vacs, VS machine, bladder scanner, vein finder

• EMR –

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• IV skills, BLS

• Foley insertion, medication administration

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Telemetry

• ACLS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Foley insertion

• Bladder scanner, IV insertion, wound care, NG insertion, blood administration
