• Number of Beds – 52

• Number of Staff – 134

• Type of staff:

• Day Shift – 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod

• Night Shift – 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod

• Patient Ratios – 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, Peds – team nursing – Estimated ratios, not guaranteed

• Type of equipment – Alaris

• EMR -Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH, Kansas License,

• Experience in traveling or experience at large facility areas

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• TNCC

• Meditech experience

• Been to a 52 bed ER or larger

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• IV starts, medication administration, sedations, pediatrics

• Good grasp on patient experience

Best personality Fit:

• Able to keep up with our fast pace ER

• Diverse and able to learn quickly, we are a young crowd and assume you can handle your own

• Expectation is that you scan your patient and medications every time
