Job Title – RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location – Louisville, KY

Pay – $2192 – $2300/wk

Schedule Details – Night, 3X12

Job Description –

Must have experience in Cardiac ICU and prefers experience with Pulmonary Artery Catheters & Intra Aortic Balloon Pump

Position Information:

• Facility Department/Cost Center: 5003416
• Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN
• Specialty: 4 Towers ICU – ICU, MICU & CCU
• Number of Openings: 2
• Shift: 6:45AM – 7:15PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, KY License
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: All ICU or PCU units

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 2:1; rarely 3:1 for a short period of time
• Equipment: SWAN, IMPELLA, IABP, ARTIC SUN (Target Temperature Management), ZOLL IVTM (Target Temperature Management), EKOS, CADD, IV PLUM Pumps, Peritoneal dialysis, Prismax
• EMR: Cerner

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: ICU experience & Cardiac ICU, experience with Pulmonary Artery Catheters & Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Additional Cardiac pumps – swan, balloon & CRRT
• Type of Patients on Unit: Medical & Cardiac ICU patients
• Personality Fit: Humble, energetic, compassionate, adaptable, team player, willing to be a resource to other nurses if needed

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue tops/bottom/jackets. Black scrub bottoms only
