Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Ratios: typical ratio 2-3 patients/RN: 4:1 max as unit only allows 8 patients
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Unit Secretary present at Children's entrance for visitor check-in; Nurse externs/PCTs as unit need
• Type of equipment : Alaris pumps
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements : Full time hours, Three 12-hour shifts per week; Weekend requirements; Holiday requirements as necessary
• On Call Requirements : None
• Floating policy: Womens and Childrens Service Lines; NICU when low census in Pediatrics

Services offered: "Kids Express" pediatric emergency rooms, a level-III NICU, dedicated child life specialists, pediatric outpatient services.
