Job Description –
Inpatient Occupational Therapist
M-F 800a-16:30p
Daily Patient Load: 10-12
Years of experience REQ: 1
First timers accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: No
Certs REQ: BLS, NBCOT, IN State License
Is on-call REQ? No
Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No
Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes. M-F schedule
Locals accepted: Yes.
RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.
Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts – 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr. shifts – 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts – 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Required Skills: General – Assessment, discharge, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, infection prevention, patient family education, safety and injury prevention, telephone calls, billing Activities of Daily Living – Acute disorder, adaptive equipment, assessment, chronic disorder, functional activities, pre-discharge planning, standardized assessments
Adults – CVA rehab, Dementia/Alzheimer's, lower extremity, Parkinson's disease, upper extremity
Unit Information: We are an IP department with 10 OT's covering the Acute Care Hospital and Inpatient Rehab Unit. We cover the medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, ICU/CCU, and Rehab units in the hospital. Shift Info: Day 5×8-Hour (08:00 – 16:30)
