Job Title – Imaging & Radiology – MRI Technologist
Location – Bloomington, IN
Pay – $2680 – $2788/wk
Schedule Details – Night, 3X12
Aya Offer – MRI Tech
Shift: Sat, Sun, Mon, Possible holidays and on-call.
Types of Cases REQ: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics exp Required.
Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Teaching Hospital, NICU, Adult ICU, IV Starts, PACS experience required.
Types of Cases Preferred: infants, pediatrics, phlebotomy.
Years of experience REQ: 2 years
First timers accepted: Yes.
Weekend REQ: Yes
National Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Cert or ARMRIT
BLS REQ: Yes
Is on-call REQ? Yes
Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? between units, but not to other facilities
Open to accommodating block schedule? To be discussed
Locals accepted: Yes. What is the local radius rule? $15 off bill rate for travelers who reside within 50 miles of their assigned IU Health Facility
IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST OBTAINED UPON OFFER
RTO Restrictions: Required to work 2/3 major holidays
Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts – 40 hrs. in one workweek.
3, 12 hr shifts – 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts – 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Special Requirements: Required MRI skills: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Image Post-Processing, MIP, MRP, Surface Coils. T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images, Siemens. One Pre-Approved Time-Off Request per Contract
Unit Information: MRI EXAMS. OUT-PATIENT, IN-PATIENT, ER PATIENTS, Typical cases for an MRI department. We have 3 MRI units. Two are mainly out-patient, and 1 is designated for in-patient and ER.
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). **Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
