General Information

Shift Details- Please correct information below if needed:

• Quantity: 2

• Bill Rate $78.00

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Shift/Workdays: Days / 7-10 hrs weekday

• Weekend – weekend Rotating

• Call Requirements: Yes

• Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years +

• Other Helpful or Misc. Information: Able to operate cardiac stimulator (Bloom), able to use MacLab recorder

***All candidates are required to float, while on the interview please inform candidate of the Methodist Floating Policy***

Unit Specifics – Information below is requested for better sourcing:

• Number of Beds : 155

• Type of equipment : MacLab, Volcano IVUS, MacLab hemo monitoring, Philips FD 20 and FD 10

• Documentation system: Meditech and MacLab

• Scheduling requirements: Days / 7-10 hrs weekday – weekend Rotating

• Floating policy: As needed

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)

• Scrub assist skills during cardiac and EP diagnostic and interventional procedures

• Able to use MacLab system to record, measure and document during various cardiac (non-EP) procedures

• 2+ Years of Hospital Experience

• BLS Required

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)

• EP scrub experience

• Cath and vascular procedures (diagnostic and interventions)

• Meditech Experience Preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN/TECH)

• Active TX RN License ONLY- temp License will not be accepted

• RCIS or RCES

Procedures performed on unit:

• Cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures

• Vascular (peripheral) diagnostic and interventional procedures

• EP scrub assist in cardiac and EP procedures to include device implantations

Patient Experience Required:

• adult

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color

• Cath Lab RN/CST: Facility will provide scrubs

• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy

• Hair – hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed

• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually

• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
