• Number of Beds -22
• Number of Staff - 55
• Type of staff:
o Day Shift - Charge +5 RNs + 1 AM ER Tech, 1 12-12ER Tech, 10-10 RN,12-12 RN and 3-3 RN
o Night Shift - Charge + 6 RNs +1 PM Tech, 1 12-12ER Tech, 10-10 RN,12-12 RN and 3-3 RN
• Patient Ratios - 4:1
• EMR -Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
• Strong triage and critical thinking skills
• Trauma and cardiac alert experience, including care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Trauma and cardiac alert experience, including care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) - preferred but not required
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, wound care
• Moderate sedation for procedures such as reductions or cardioversion
• Assisting with intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code response
• Care of stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health patients
• Transport preparation and coordination for higher levels of care
• Triage assessment and prioritization based on ESI guidelines
• Isolation and infection control protocols
• Documentation and reassessment in fast paced environments
