Unit Information: Main PACU
Location: Main PACU, main tower, second floor
Address: 500 Medical Center Blvd
Floor: 2nd floor of the main tower
Building: HCA Clear Lake Main tower
General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
• Number of Beds - 14
• Number of Staff - 16
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift - 1 charge and 6 staff nurses
• Night Shift - 2 overnight staff
• Patient Ratios - 1:1 or 1:2.
• EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
•
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Endoscopy procedures, Hernia repairs, Myomectomy, Hysterectomy, Nephrectomy, joint repair/replacements, lumbar fusions and most other general surgeries.
• Traumas
Best personality Fit:
• Team player, good attitude, willingness to help

• Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Weekends and On call(if any)
• On call once per night every two weeks.
**Shifts needing to fill are 9A- 9P, 9P - 9A or 9P - 7A.
