Hospital: Med City Dallas
Location: Dallas, TX
Unit: Antepartum (625)
Classification: Obstetrics / L&D
Shift Detail: 7AM
Building/Floor/Suite information of unit : 9 North
General Information
Shift Details- Please correct information below if needed:
• Quantity: 1
• Bill Rate
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift/Workdays:
• Weekend - Every other
• Call Requirements: No
• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years + High Risk Labor and Delivery or Antepartum, must have BLS, NRP and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
• Other Helpful or Misc. Information: Experience with High acuity patients preferred

• Number of Beds: 19
• Patient Ratios : 1:5
• Documentation system: Meditech & CPIN (Primary)
• Scheduling requirements: Shifts will be scheduled to fill vacancies, holiday requirements to be discussed upon interview
• Floating policy: As needed

• Certifications: BLS, NRP, Intermediate AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
• High Risk Obstetrical Experience (Labor & Delivery or Antepartum)
• 2+ Years of Hospital Experience
• BLS
• NRP
• AWHONN
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:
• ACLS, RNC
• MEDITECH EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN/LVN/Tech)
• ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE - temp license will not be accepted
Patient Experience Required:
• Magnesium Sulfate management, preterm labor management
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
• Scrub Color
• RN: Blue Insignia Scrubs must be ordered.
• Nail Policy - Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
• Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
• Tattoos - Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings - Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
