Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds - 20 (ADC 5-8)

• Number of Staff - 18 total; staff minimum of 2 with 0 babies.

• Type of staff:

• Day Shift - ( example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) Charge, 2RN

• Night Shift - Charge, 2 RN

• Patient Ratios - Based on acuity; 3 feeder/grower (level 2), 1-2 intermediate (level 3), 1 acute (level 4)

• Type of equipment - Omnibeds, bedside physiologic monitors, GE vents

• EMR - CPN and Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• 1 year NICU experience

• Current NRP certification

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• CPN and Meditech

• Assist with intubation and central line placement

• IVs, lab draws, gavage feedings, phototherapy
