• Number of Staff - dependent on acuity and census
• Type of staff:
o Day Shift - cnc / 4-6 nurses prefer cnc free, unit secretary,
o Night Shift - cnc / 4-6 nurses prefer cnc free,
• Patient Ratios - med/surg 4/1,
• Type of equipment -
• EMR - meditech

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Cleft palate repair, appy, chest tube management, lumbar punctures,
• Seizure management, noninvasive cardiology only, no neurosurgery or stroke, no removal foreign body from airway
• Currently have services for neuro, ortho, gen surg, thoracic cases such as thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, pectus bar implants.

• Bls, pals
Floating Area(s):
• NICU level 1 or 2 only
Dress Code :
• Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue
Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Weekends and On call(if any)
• 4 weekend days every 4 weeks. No call
