Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds: 20
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 for CCU patients
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit secretary on days & nights, occasional tech help
• Type of equipment: GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 36 hours/wk, 3 weekend shifts/4 weeks
• Floating policy: Contract labor floats before core staff
• Patient Experience requirements: at least 1 year critical care

• Certifications: ACLS
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have : 1 year critical care experience, Meditech experience, ACLS, NIH certification
Advanced skills needed: Ability to manage: arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths/cardiovascular & vasopressor drips/ventilated patients
Procedures performed on unit: Bedside central line placement, Massive transfusion protocol,
Certifications Required: ACLS
Dress Code : (Required uniform)
• Black scrubs
