Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Ability to work independently in the department with Radiologist availability for questions

• Ability to give excellent patient care keeping the MRI environment safe for everyone

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Ability to adapt protocols for patients or physician needs

• Willing to learn from onsite and virtual applications for new procedures

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Neuro exams including MRAs MRIs of the head, neck, and spine

• Abdominal exams including MRCPs, MRAs-MRIs of the aorta, liver, and kidneys

• MSK exams include extremities and arthrograms

• We have many policies for safety and exams. All protocols are built in the scanner for easy access and guidance

We are planning a software upgrade that will increase our software from GE 23X to the newest GE 30X with AirDL. This will give us faster scans and new neuro and abdominal sequences. Future growth will involve a 2nd scanner and growth of the department.
