Location: Lawnwood Regional Medical Center

General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
• Number of Beds - 1 MRI Scanner, 1 table
• Number of Staff - 1 Tech 24 hours a day, 12 hour shifts
• Type of staff: 2 MRI Techs total
o Day Shift - 2 MRI Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts
o Night Shift - 2MRI Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts
• Patient Ratios - 1:1
• Type of equipment - GE, 1.5 , Discovery 450
• EMR -Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• BLS, ARRT
•
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• ACLS but not required
•
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• MRI scans producing detailed pictures of internal body structures
• Does not use any X-Rays
Best personality Fit:
• Critical thinker, flexible, no call associated, willing to work weekends and nights
• Work independently is a MUST, adaptable, flexible
Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
