Job Description

Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted
Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS Required
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: General Emergency Department (Non-Trauma); very large and busy with high acuity; Stroke and STEMI Certified
Ratio / Census: 1:4 Ratio; 59 Bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day
Unit Systems: Epic (required), Pyxis
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
RTO: MAX 7 days
RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
Floating: Rare but within facility/scope of practice as needed
Call Requirements: Not specified
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
New Years Eve/New Years Day
Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Client Offer. CLINICAL SCREENS - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis
Locals Accepted - Same Rate
Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 19hrs for 19 week assignment) Shift Info: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
