General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
• Number of Beds - 15
• Number of Staff - 18
• Type of staff: at capacity 15 patients
• Day Shift - 1 charge (takes full load), 2 RNs, 1 CNA
• Night Shift - 1 charge (takes full load), 2 RNs, 1 CNA
• Patient Ratios - 5:1, max 6:1
• Type of equipment - VS machines, transfer equipment (hoyer lift, sliding boards, etc), EKG, bladder scanner, etc.
• EMR - Meditech, Pyxis

• Transfer training
• EMR proficiency
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Rehab experience
• Rehab scoring documentation

• Patient Transfers
• Bladder Scans, Dressing changes, Medication administration

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• BLS
• RN Licensure
Floating Area(s):
• Med-Surge, Tele, Renal, Urology, Orthopedic, Overflow Units (between hospitals Bay Area and DRMC)
• Excludes ICU
Dress Code:
• Scrub Color/Attire - NA
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
• Bedside Report / Handoff
• Hourly Rounding
• Ensure Bed Alarm activation
Weekends and On call(if any)
• Every other weekend, Holidays
• On call seldom, unless overall hospital census is low
