Tell us about the unit(s): This is an outpatient clinic.

• Number of Beds - 4 exam rooms

• Number of Staff - 2 RNs

• Type of staff:

• Day Shift - 1 to 2 RNs, Director is also an RN, 1 Gamma Knife RN, 2 front office team members, 2 physicists, 3 MDs.

• Night Shift - Closed

• Patient Ratios - 1-2 patients per RN. - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed

• Type of equipment - Electronic documentation, Meditech and Mosaic

• EMR - Meditech and Mosaic

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current Radiation Oncology RN acute care experience

• BLS

• OCN Certification, Oncology Certified RN

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Radiation Oncology Experience

• Prior Meditech experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Patient care, symptom management and education of patients on radiation therapy

• Radiation side effects such as skin changes and fatigue
