• Patient Ratios : 6:1
• Unit staffing description- unit secretaries 6 am - 10 pm; techs available on all shifts
• Type of equipment :
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends
• Floating policy: will float to other Med-Surg and Tele units
• Patient Experience requirements: at least one year of acute care experience

• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required

Requested Skill Set:

Must have : excellent physical assessment and documentation skills, experience caring for acute care stroke patients, time management skills, well developed critical thinking skills, well established A.I.D.E.T behaviors, knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs, HAIs

Advanced skills needed: Chemo experience is a plus

Procedures performed on unit:

Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS certification
