WILL ACCEPT 48 HOUR GUARANTEE

General Information
Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds: 30
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 30 cardiac med-surg beds, per staffing grid: 6 nurses per shift with a free CNC/charge nurse to assist, unit secretary on dayshift, 3 PCTs per shift; cardiac drips that are titrated: Cardizem and heparin; non-titratable drips: dopamine, dobutamine, amiodarone, self-scheduling, airstrip for telemetry, immobile
• Type of equipment: GE telemetry and Rover, portable WOWs, Welch-Allen VS machine
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: three full 12-hour shifts with 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
• Floating policy: rotation with other travel nurses
• Patient Experience requirements: NRC

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Telemetry
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: med-surg experience, familiar with cardiac medications/drips, meditech
Must have - cardiac/telemetry knowledge, EKG rhythm identification
Advanced skills needed: ACLS
Procedures performed on unit: n/a
Certifications Required: RN, BLS, ACLS, EKG/cardiac rhythm identification
Dress Code : (Required uniform)
• Navy blue scrubs
