• Type of staff:
• Day Shift - 1 charge, 4 RN, 1 paramedic, and 1-3 sitters

• Night Shift - 1 charge, 4 RN, 1 paramedic, and 1-3 sitters

• Patient Ratios - 1:4

• Type of equipment - Level 1, Lucas, Welch Allen vital sign machines, GE bed side monitors, and EKG machines.

• EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• ACLS

• PALS OR ENPC (must have one or the other)

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• TNCC

• ATCN/CEN Certification

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Acute care and assessment of ER patients (Level III trauma center, accredited chest pain center, primary stroke center).

• IV initiation, blood collection, blood transfusions, medication administration, resuscitation of adults and pediatric patients, care of behavioral health patients, assist with intubation, restraint application, assist with splinting, and moderate sedation.

• Likes a family like atmosphere with a great team. Must be team orientated and willing to be flexible with where they are placed on the unit (triage, resus rooms etc.)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC
