Hospital: Centerpoint Medical Center
Location: Independence Missouri

Unit Name: Cat Scan
Building: Main campus next to the Emergency room

General Information
Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds : 2 CT scanners (128 Discovery GE, 16 slice GE
• Patient Ratios : 1:1
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : RT T CT registered
• Type of equipment : GE see above
• Documentation system: Meditech, McKesson Pacs
• Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts Fri, Sat, Sun
• Floating policy: will work in diagnostic x-ray as well
• Patient Experience requirements: yes
Hospital Specifics-
• Certifications: RT R, CT (ARRT) BLS
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: must work nights independently, be registered and some knowledge of trauma scanning would be nice.
Must have: CT registered
Advanced skills needed: start IV,
Procedures performed on unit: all CT scans possible including perfusion brains and trauma scans
Certifications Required: Certifications: RT R, CT (ARRT); BLS
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
• Black scrubs
Unit Guidelines/Policies:
• We will provide competencies for machines they will operate and they will not be in house alone
Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment:
• Digital portables, 256 GE and 128 GE
