We do self-scheduling which is a big staff satisfier. Our team works together well to cover the staffing needs of the unit. We have a team nursing approach, where all of the nurses look out for each other, and help each other when possible. Strong leadership team that is supportive of nurses and can all work the floor when\/if needed. We have many tenured nurses with 20-40 years of experience. New OB Hospitalist program began in April, and gives attending support to the residency program, and nurses working triage.
