\u2022 Patient Ratios – 1:5\/ 1:6 stretch dependent on level of care

\u2022 Inpatient overflow unit w\/mixed level of care- medical surgical and\/or step-down patients bedded on this unit

\u2022 Short stay (<24 hr LOS) patients target to this unit.

\u2022 Quick turnover

\u2022 Type of equipment – telemetry; if telemetry monitoring indicated, all patients hardwired to bedside monitor.

\u2022 EMR – Cerner
