\u2022 Patient Ratios : 1:1, 1:2 (occasionally 1:3 with patients ready to leave ICU)
\u2022 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : no CNAs, one tele
\u2022 Type of equipment : Aleris pumps, GE monitors, Edwards EV 1000 and CCO, primaflex CRRT, cardiohelp ECMO
\u2022 Documentation system: Meditech
\u2022 Scheduling requirements: 3 12 hour shift a week, everyone other weekend.
\u2022 Floating policy: Travelers float first – ED, step down
\u2022 On Call Expectations: Only when census drops, otherwise no call

\u2022 29 bed general ICU in a level 2 trauma center. Heart program with about 200 cases per year. CRRT, Impella, IABP, ECMO. Burn center opened April 2019. Average years of experience in ICU staff is 12.
