We also take stroke patients and other PCU overflow as needed. We are highly focused on safety and quality and have high expectations for documentation compliance and processes related to central lines\/foleys\/cdiff and other HAIs. We pride ourselves on our team work and support from our charge nurses. Techs staff the unit as well.<br> <br> \u2022 Type of equipment : EKG, bladder scanner, sit to stand, hoyer lift, hover mat, Alarispumps, Pyxis<br> <br> \u2022 Documentation system: Meditech- EBCD<br> <br> \u2022 Scheduling requirements: At least every 3rd weekend, 3 shifts per week.<br> <br> \u2022 Floating policy: Can float to like units (Ortho\/Neuro\/CCU\/CDU\/SSU\/Obs\/Rehab)<br> <br> \u2022 Patient Experience requirements: We are focused on our 2X2s 1)Nurse Explain and 2) Nurse Courtesy and Respect. We conduct Nurse Leader Rounds on every patient, every day, including a pre-round where we ask the nurse what the patients preferred name is, a personal connection and how we can validate the 2X2s. We also conduct a post round where we coach on anything that is not within our expectations and recognize anything that our patients said about their care. We are monitoring white boards, tidiness of room, safety and quality measures.<br> <br> Hospital Specifics-<br> <br> \u2022 Certifications: CP Center, Primary Stroke Center, Colorectal COE, Bariatric COE, Ortho Certified<br><br>Hiring profile<br> <br> Requested Skill Set:<br> <br> Must have: ACLS, BLS, Basic Dys, NIH cert, a good attitude and a team oriented mind.
