Educates patients on what to expect and ensures they are safe and comfortable during their scan. Obtains IV access, prepares and administers contrast and is familiar with recognizing and responding to adverse contrast events. Possesses advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. Ensures the MRI environment remains safe by screening all visitors and team members entering the MRI environment. Displays knowledge of scanning protocols and adjusts to ensure diagnostic images. Performs routine QC and ensures equipment is functioning properly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians. Documents necessary information in EMR.\u00a0Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.<\/li><li>Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.<\/li><li>Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
