The Technologist will travel to Avon Urgent Care when needed.<\/p><p><br><\/p><p>Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR.\u00a0Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.<\/p><ul><li>Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.<\/li><li>Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.<\/li><li>Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.<\/li><li>Requires active status as a Registered Technologist &#8211; Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible).
