o Grid Calls for: Both Shift – 1 Charge RN, 9 RN, 4 Patient Care Techs (CNA), 1 Unit Clerk
• Patient Ratios – 1:5-6
• Type of equipment – Vital Spot Monitoring, GE Telemetry Boxes, PyxisES
• EMR – Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Experience with PIV, Urinary Catheters, Alaris Pumps, Telemetry Box
• Time Management/Efficiency- fast paced floor
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Knowledge of cardiac drips/drugs
• Knowledge/experience of post catheterization care
• Knowledge/experience with CHF, COPD patients
• Knowledge and experience in cardioversions

• Cardioversions
• Thoracentesis (rare)
