Tell us about the unit(s):
• Number of Beds – 10 ORs – CMC licensed for 330 beds
• Number of Staff – 50 +/-
• Type of staff:
o Day Shift – RNs STs UAs
o Night Shift – Call team
• Patient Ratios – 1:1
• Type of equipment – DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite
• EMR – Altera

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have :
• Cardiac Surgery (CABG/Valve Replacements/Aorta Replacement/Bentall Procedures – NO transplants)
• Thoracic Surgery – Thoracotomy and VATS, also robotic thoracic is a huge plus
• Vascular Surgery – Carotid and femoral endarterectomy, dialysis cath, peripheral vascular bypass (i.e. Fem-Pop bypass)
• Endovascular – basic groin or radial access, angiography/angioplasty, EVAR/TEVAR
Preferred or nice to have :
• Thoracic robot a plus, but not needed for call coverage
• Basic endovascular for call coverage
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Open heart surgery, basic and complex (see above)
• Thoracic Surgery Procedures (see above)
• Vascular and Endovascular (see above)
Best personality Fit:

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• BLS
Floating Area(s):
• General OR possible

Dress Code :
• Scrub Color/Attire – OR Provided

Weekends and On call(if any)
Holidays PRN, rotating weekends, 2 nights a week call possible, one night a week stay late
