General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
• Number of Beds – 2 cath lab rooms
• Number of Staff – Current needs are 2 FT techs and 6 FT RNs. Current staffing includes 1 FT RN, 1 agency RN, 2 prn RNs
• Type of staff:
o Day Shift – Staff works M – F from 0645 until done. Rotate call from Thursday- Thursday every week
o Night Shift – Call team available on weekends and after hours.
• Patient Ratios – 1 tech and 2 RNs per pt
• Type of equipment – GE Innova. Will be getting a Siemens Artis Icono Bi Plane system in June
• EMR – Meditech for the hospital. The cath lab uses Merge Hemo for documentation.
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• BLS
• ARRT
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Skilled with closure devices
• Cath Lab experience (performing diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, PPM implants etc)
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Cerebral angiograms
• Carotid stents
• Thrombectomies
• Cerebral embolizations

• Willing to help in whatever capacity is needed

• Takes initiative
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• BLS
Floating Area(s):
• Help in cath lab if no neuro cases scheduled.
• IR if needed
Dress Code :
• Scrub Color/Attire – Facility provides OR scrubs
Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
