We are the regions referral center for the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit. And Mission Childrens Hospital - the regions only childrens hospital, including a pediatric emergency room- providing 30 pediatric subspecialists.

Unit Specifics:
• Scrub Color(s) : Surgical green or navy
• Number of Beds : 40
• Patient Ratios : 1:2
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : HUC available 7:30-4; 4 PCTs scheduled each day and assigned to specific pods. Can draw labs, do catheterizations, and transport patients
• Type of equipment : standard PACU equipment
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Scheduling requirements: 6 week schedules at a time; 3 call shifts required within the 6 weeks
• Floating policy: Float within peri-anesthesia (Endoscopy/PreOp/Phase II)
• Patient Experience requirements:

Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: Trauma experience, pediatric experience
Must have : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale experience
Advanced skills needed: ventilator monitoring
