Job Title – RN – Medical Surgical (Med/Surg)

Location – Selma, AL

Pay – $2074 – $2254/wk

Schedule Details – Night, 3X12

Job Description –
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Appropriately assesses, plans, implements, and evaluate patient care. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Facility Requirements:
Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP & PALS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted

Must have 2 years recent Pediatric Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting

Highly preferred but not required, candidate also have experience newborn nursery and/or well post-partum/OB experience

Schedule is a set 3-4 rotation (3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the other week of every 2-week rotation; every other weekend included in this schedule).

Must have Alabama RN license, must be attached to resume
