Job Title – Imaging & Radiology – CT Technologist

Location – Columbus, OH

Pay – $55 – $60/hr

Schedule Details – Day, 5X8

Job Description –

General Description:

  • Performs CT examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring the poduction of quality diagnostic images.

Essential Job Funcitons:

  • Operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal structures.
  • Prepares patients for CT procedures by positioning them correctly and administering contrast media as required.
  • Monitors patients during DT scans to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Maintains accurate patient records and ensures that all images are properly labeled and stored.
  • Callibrates and maintains CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret CT images and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Note: Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance is an essential job function. Employees are expected to perform work as scheduled.

Education Requirement:

  • Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.

Licensure Requirement:

  • Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
  • Curent Ohio Department of Health License (ODH), required.

Certifications:

  • Current CPR Certification, required.
  • ARRT certification (CT) within 1 year of employment, required.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Experience:

  • Two years of clinical experience in the Radiologic Sciences, required.
  • One year of experience in CT procedures, preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.

Shifts:

  • 5 x 8 (one position).
    • Monday – Friday primarily.
    • Start Time between 8-9AM (8 hours).
  • 3 x 12 (one position).
    • Rotating Days.
    • Start Time 7AM – 7:30PM.
  • Weekend, call, and holiday rotation, required.
