General Information

Trident Medical Center is a 331-bed facility.
Trident Medical Center supports a 60 free standing behavior health hospital (Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness) and three free standing emergency departments.
PGY 1 Residency Program (2 Residents)
Busy level 2 Trauma Center
38 ICU Beds (Medical/Trauma/Cardiovascular/Neuro)
21 Operating Rooms with robust CV surgery program
Busy Emergency Department
Pharmacy has 55 team members (60% pharmacists and 40% technicians)
Pharmacy works in a decentralized model during the day and centralizes for evenings, nights, and weekends.
24/7 centralized pharmacy order entry support
USP 797 and USP 800 compliant facility
Pharmacy provides advanced clinical services (e.g., aminoglycoside, vancomycin, renal dosing, IV to PO, anticoagulation dosing consult service.
Pharmacy participates in multidisciplinary rounds.
Pharmacy system is Meditech Magic
Automated Dispensing Cabinets: Pyxis ES
Use Vigilanz Clinical Pharmacist Workflow
Use DoseEdge IV Compounding Software
Use Baxter Abacus /Exactamix Compounder
Need to have at least 3 years of experience in a complex large tertiary acute care hospital
Need evening and night pharmacist support
Must be licensed as a pharmacist in the State of South Carolina

Hiring profile

Years of Experience Required: 3 years of experience in a large tertiary care hospital
Must be licensed as a pharmacist in South Carolina
Must have Meditech Magic Experience
Must have DoseEdge IV Workflow Experience
Will be required to complete garbing and hand hygiene, gloved fingertip, and aseptic manipulation testing.
Need evening and night support

Dress Code : (Required uniform)
Pharmacist should dress professionally or wear hunter green scrubs
