General Information

• Shift/Workdays: 7A

• Weekend -4 weekend shifts per month

• Call Requirements: No

• Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years +

• Number of Beds :12

• Patient Ratios :2/1

• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :1 unit tech each shift and 1 unit secretary on day shift.

• Documentation system: Meditech

• Floating policy: As needed

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)

• 2+ years of experience

• ACLS

• BLS

• NRP

• FM

• AWHONN

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)

• RNC

• Meditech Experience Preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)

• Active TX RN License ONLY- temp License will not be accepted

Procedures performed on unit:

• CIRCULATE C-SECTIONS

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color

• RN – Facility will provide scrubs

• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy

• Hair – hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed

• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually

• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
